Matera is easily reachable from the main cities:

• • From Bari: approximately 65 km via SS96 (1 hour)
  • From Power: approximately 100 km via SS407 Basentana (1 hour and 20 minutes)
  • From Taranto: approximately 95 km via SS106 and SP3 (1 hour and 15 minutes)

Note: the historic center of the Sassi is a limited traffic area. We recommend parking in designated areas and walking to the property (approximately 5-10 minutes). IMPORTANT: The historic center of the Sassi is a pedestrian area and ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone). It is not possible to access by car.
